Stripped v1.21

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
This script pack is meant to be used BY ITSELF. It more than likely will not like to play nice with 3rd party scripts. That said, here's how you install it.... Unzip the entire contents of Stripped.zip into a CLEAN and EMPTY config folder for Tribes. Start Tribes. Read the on screen instructions. Close Tribes. Open up StrippedPrefs.cs with notepad and set your preferences (Yes, there are instructions inside StrippedPrefs.cs). Once more, and I cannot express this enough.... DO NOT BOTHER ME WITH THIS PACK. IM NOT SUPORTING IT. YOU DONT GET IT? TOUGH NOOGIES.

Version 1.21 - Bugfix release. Sorry guys, but with the 1.2 release I ended up breaking a few things. This should fix the Demo Drop problem, the buddy list problem as well as a fix for AutoRejoin. Yap.cs has finally been included outside the Stripped.vol file so you folks can edit it. There are no new features included as this is a bugfix only.

Version 1.2 - Lots of bug fixes... ChainZoom has been reverted to its original design. No more smooth zoom, but it is 1000% more reliable. The connect script will no longer interfere with TribesIP or gamespy. No more crashes. :) The stuttering problem with drop.cs is gone as well. DemoDrop.cs will now refuse to demo drop if you started it via TribesIP or Gamespy, since it crashed to the desktop anyhow. Now it politely tells you that it just ain't gonna do it. New script included are a PoopIncoming port, a Busy Server Redial script, as well as a nifty port of Zear's ReticleCompass with an enhancement or two. There were several other minor changes not worth mentioning. I don't know of any other bugs in Stripped, but I'm sure there are plenty. Feel free to contact me and let me know if you found one.

Version 1.15 - Alrighty, added inventory support for insomniax and renegades. If you guys want more support for mod inventorys out there, feel free to send me a list of all the items in your mod. Also added in Stripped is a "Check for Ammo" script. Hopefully this will get some of you monkeys off my back. Another bugfix to the menusystem.cs script as it would get all screwey if you called the same menu twice. It's fix0r3d. :) I also seemed to have forgotten that you might want to know the keybind to activate MoveHuds.cs. Sorry 'bout that. Use "Control + h" to activate it. Oh yeah, there is a llammarific Jump n' Jet script in here too. I'm running out of super l33t ideas for Stripped atm, so If you'se folks have any input or ideas, i'd appreciate em.

Version 1.1 - Big changes for Stripped. In fact, so big, I had to disallow the carrying over of preferences in your old StrippedPrefs.cs file. This is a pain, I know. However, there are some really cool things here that will make Stripped even more customizable to your needs. The reason for the forced prefs reset is a new script called Keybind.cs. Those of you who wanted to bind scripts in here to key combos (i.e. - using modifiers), you can do that now. Now, whenever you are setting a key preference just put the modifer a space and then your key. (ex - \"control s\" will bind a script to, you guessed it, control + s. There are examples of this new scheme throughout the prefs file. You will also notice a lot of new variables ending in "Device". This will allow you to specify if you want it on the mouse or joystick versus just the keyboard. This should really settle down the calls to the complaint department over here. Another nifty script is Movehuds.cs. Yep, welcome to Stripped's very own hud moving script. Now you can move all TWO of the huds! *snicker* Seriously, those that are writing scripts off of Stripped's api will be able to take advantage of this. Its hella cool and will work with any user added hud that does not constantly refresh it's position. What else we got? Can you say MouseMod.cs? Just like my original PoopMouse script - only better. Use modifiers on the mouse as you would other keys on the keyboard! Full in-game configuration. Just hit a mouse key or key combination and you are off to the races. As always, several annoying little buggers have been squished - namely the DemoPlay bug that would a) Reset itself to 1x whenever you opened the command map. and b) Get all screwey when you wanted to watch a second demo. Enjoy!

Okey dokey. I think there are enough updates as well as little to no bugs to call this thing 1.0. Ok, it's 1.0 now. That was painless, right? Anyhow, some really cool things here in the latest version. For those that wish to develop scripts for Stripped, you have a new tool - TextInput.cs. This will allow you to get text input from users. Very usefull, IMO. Big update for the Faves.cs script. You can now define mod tables in the game. No more pissing and moaning about your faves not working on all the different modded servers. To access these options, use your setup key like before - you will see a nice onscreen menu to pick your options. You're welcome. Next comes ChatHudThingy. Following Stripped tradition CHT is small and built for you minimalists in mind. CHT does just what my old ChatHUDHider script did - and more. Give it a looksee. It's tres neato. Finally, something stupid. Really. StupidRepairTricks.cs. It's stupid, I like it.

Stripped 0.99 has a couple small changes and another new, usefull script. Gone is the annoying scout buy problem for you mod players out there. You shouldnt have this problem anymore. In addition, a new script has been added - Toss.cs. The new toss script does a whole lot of handy no-brainer functions for in-game play. You have to see it to understand it. Check out Toss.cs and see what it can do for you. :). I wanted to throw more in this release, but im going away for the weekend and wont be able to make any updates while I'm gone. This way, you guys have something new to play with while im in Michigan. Enjoy.

Version 0.986 Small update - Added a super nifty version checker in-game! Just go to your main menu in Tribes, and click the big "Check for update" button. Couldn't be easier!

Version 0.985 Ok, I screwed up a bit with the chain zoom thingy. So to make it up to you, I fixed it, and but good! I changed a few scripts around - namely Zoom. I have finally split it into two scripts - One with zoom functions (and it's still named Zoom.cs), and another for sniping (Snipe.cs). Included with this release is a bugfix for the DemoPlay.cs script. It should now trigger everytime you start up a demo. That's it for now folks...

Mwaha!!! New stuff to 0.98 is going to be hella nifty! I fixed a bug in MenuSystem.cs for those of you who wanted to create your own custom menus. You may have noticed that menu names with spaces in them sort of well.... don't work. This has been fixed. Neener. Other updates include a little tweak to advanced fire, as well as a few new scripts. "What scripts may they be?", you ask? TargetTalk is a hella nifty script that displays an onscreen menu whenever you fire the targetting laser. This menu contains shortcuts to common chats you may want to say when pointing that green laser o' death. For example - You may want to order repairs while pointing, or you want to warn of incoming cappers or enemies. With this script, it's a snap. Just whip out your targetting laser, aim, shoot, and pick a chat! Another simple addition comes from a suggestion by iBS|TheMadZealot. He had an idea to auto-zoom your chaingun to 2x while firing. I thought about it for a minute, and basically thought it was a kick ass idea! I can aim a wee bit better now with my chaingun. whee! Thanks, iBS|TheMadZealot.

New to version 0.965 is a simple little script caled EnergyTrack. Many thanks go to PanamaJack in discovering a new method for telling if you're at a portable INV. Anyhow, EnergyTrack will give you onscreen status of a portable inventory station if you happen to be using it. This is handy for knowing the current status of the inv. Also taking advantage of this new function is the RepKits script. It will no longer purchase repair kits automatically if you are at a portable INV. This helps conserve it's energy. :) I've also gone and fixed that annoying bug where the onscreen huds periodically don't appear. They should work everytime now.

Stripped version 0.96 will be a welcome update. Now, everytime you upgrade Stripped after this you won't have to re-enter your preferences. They will be carried over to the new version. Yer welcome. :) Included with this release are some new features and a better API back end for other scripters to plug into. New with this version is a support script called "MenuSystem.cs". This allows you to create dynamic multi-tiered menus to execute any command. New scripts added that take advantage of this are "QuickDrop" and "Yap". QuickDrop is completely inspired by the DropHUD concept pioneered by Crunchy. This is however, a loose interpretation. Try it, you'll like it. Yap is a complete chatmenu replacement for the default "V" chat menu that came with tribes. The advantage to this is the extended flexibility allowed by taking advantage of MenuSystem.cs. The other major advantage, is that the damned thing is easy to see in any background. It's good. You like. Finally, I added another new script called "Ping". Basically, it keeps a running ping meter right on the play screen so you can see at a glance whether or not your are lagged at the very moment. Very handy, and oh so sheek.

Stripped version 0.92 Contains yet a few more fixes. I would venture to say this thing is pretty damned stable.

Stripped version 0.9 Contains several bug fixes and tweaks. You will notice that the PoopWeps script no longer "misses" keypresses. Also the FlagTarget script has been tweaked to work properly as well as several other little doodads. If you already installed and configured the prior version of Stripped, simply use your old stripped.cs file instead of the one included in this new version. The scripts are all the same, they just have been tweaked and/or bugfixed.
