PoopMouse is one of those scripts where I wonder why no one else has
thought of it. Those of you who use modifiers with your keybinds
(i.e. - Control + R, or Shift + Space, etc...) have found this to make
the game more flexible to your style of play. But one glaring thing that
I have always found to be a bit absurd is that you cannot use the keyboard
modifiers on mouse ( i.e. - Control + Left Button, etc...). So, to fix
this issue, I have created PoopMouse. This script (NewOpts only of
course), will allow you to set modifiers and binds for the mouse. It is
sort of a hack, so the way you bind modifiers to the mouse is a bit
different than the straight forward regular tribes keybind boxes. Use
the TOP combo box to select the keybind you want to set, and the bottom
combo box to set the action you want bound to it. Currently, it only
supports the BASE actions that come with Tribes, and only a few scripts.
But adding actions for 3rd party scripts should be a snap for future releases.
It also has the added capability to bind functions to the wheel on some
wheel mice. It is not going to work with them all however. If tribes can
recognize your wheel, than this script will utilize it. If it doesn't,
than it doesn't. Once suggestion would be to go to your control panel in
Windows and select the mouse icon. From there, see if you can change
the behavior for the mouse wheel to a "default" setting if one exsists.
This may help you get tribes to recognize the wheel.
